Are Your Cleaners Background-Checked and Insured?

Yes — every Cleaning Lab team member is background-checked before their first clean, fully trained to our written standards, and covered by the company's $1M general liability insurance policy. You never have an unvetted stranger in your home or business.
Yes, categorically — and we'd encourage you to demand the same answer, in writing, from any company you let through your door.
Background checks, before the first clean
Every person who cleans under The Cleaning Lab name passes a background check before their first assignment. Not after a probation period, not "in progress" — before. It's a condition of working with us, with no exceptions.
Trained to a written standard
Vetting gets someone in the door; training is what makes the work consistent. Every team member is trained to our written scope-of-work standards — the same checklist logic that governs your quote governs their work, which is why visit twelve looks like visit one.
$1M general liability coverage
The Cleaning Lab carries a $1,000,000 general liability policy. In the rare event something is damaged during a clean, you're dealing with an insured company with a formal process — not negotiating with an individual. Commercial clients can request a certificate of insurance during onboarding.
Why this matters more than price
Anyone can quote a low number. The real questions are: who exactly is entering my property, what happens if something goes wrong, and who's accountable? With us the answers are: a vetted, trained professional; an insured claims process; and a licensed local company you can call at (725) 765-2233.
It's also why most clients are comfortable not being home during their clean.
