What Is Included in a Standard Cleaning?
A standard cleaning from The Cleaning Lab includes kitchen and bathroom sanitization, dusting, vacuuming and mopping of all floors, trash removal, high-touch surface disinfection, and a light presentation reset. The full scope for each program is listed on the relevant service page.
A standard clean — our recurring Signature Refresh — is the visit that keeps a maintained home feeling professionally kept, week after week.
Room by room
Kitchen. Counters and backsplash sanitized, sink scrubbed and polished, appliance exteriors wiped, cabinet faces spot-cleaned, floors vacuumed and mopped, trash removed.
Bathrooms. Toilets, tubs, and showers sanitized, mirrors and glass polished, counters and sinks disinfected, floors washed, towels reset.
Bedrooms and living areas. All surfaces dusted, floors vacuumed and mopped, mirrors polished, beds made or straightened, general tidy and presentation reset.
Throughout. High-touch points — handles, switches, railings — disinfected on every visit, and trash removed from every room.
The presentation reset
The last step of every visit is a light staging pass: pillows squared, towels folded, surfaces arranged. It's a small thing that makes the difference between "cleaned" and "finished," and it's part of every standard visit.
What's not included
